GIBEON METEORITE — UNUSUAL COMPLETE METEORITE

Inexplicably shaped, this Gibeon meteorite is gently rounded on one end with a single tapered flange that gently slopes from all sides to a point. This distinctive meteorite was recovered in 1989 and exhibits a dark mottled patina; its juxtaposed parabolic and triangular geometries evoke an oriental art form or bonsai. A custom armature accompanies this poetic tabletop specimen. 89 x 144 x 109mm (3.5 x 5.75 x 4.25 inches) and 1299 grams (2.75 pounds).
